Welcome Teachers!

Cover of Navigating the Real World

We have been working hard to collect stories from Maine people in their 20s about their experiences since high school in an attempt to bridge the gap between school and the real world. The videos of these interviews appear on this site and quotes will be selected to appear in our first annual publication, Navigating the Real World. Upon its completion in April, Navigating the Real World will be distributed to every high school student in Maine.

We would really like to include interviews from high school students, both in the publication and at the site. We really believe that conducting an interview of someone not too much older than them can be extremely beneficial to high school students. Typically students interview people who are in career fields that they are interested in, asking questions such as "what kinds of mistakes have you made?", "if you had it to do over what would you do differently?", "what advice do you have for people in high school?", etc...

This page is designed to help you with the process of conducting, editing, and posting interviews. Please make use of the links below and contact us if you have any questions.
